Business Tour to JYSK: Inside Denmark’s Retail and Logistics Innovation

Step inside JYSK — one of Denmark’s most successful retail brands, known for its Scandinavian design, efficiency, and global mindset.

This Business Tour for Ukrainian Entrepreneurs offers a rare opportunity to see how JYSK connects product design, customer experience, and sustainable logistics in a single, well-coordinated system.

For Ukrainian entrepreneurs — and for those who are just planning to start their own business — this visit is a chance to understand how a company that began as a small Danish furniture store grew into an international retail chain operating in more than 50 countries.

You’ll learn how JYSK combines modern technology, automation, and teamwork to deliver affordable design products to millions of homes, while staying true to its values of simplicity, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

It’s a practical, inspiring visit for anyone interested in retail, product development, supply chains, or business growth in the Nordic style.

We organize a transfer from Horsens train station to Uldum (Jysk) - pick-up at 9:30 am.

• Guided visit with Michael Holm Jensen and Yahya Mir at JYSK’s logistics center

• Demonstration of automated warehouse technologies and robotic vehicles (AGVs)

• Overview of order fulfillment, transport preparation, and ergonomic safety practices

• Opportunity to observe the online orders department and robot-supported workflows

• Networking and informal conversation about innovation, culture, and efficiency in modern retail

As this is a working logistics hub, the route may vary, but participants will experience first-hand how JYSK combines automation with people-centered management — a model admired across Europe.
